The Daily Pulse:

Knoxville Geographic

One of our favorite local outfits gets some well-deserved ink in the current issue of National Geographic. The story's about J.R. Shute and Pat Rakes of Conservation Fisheries Inc. (featured last summer in Metro Pulse and the News Sentinel) and their work to save vanishing species of freshwater fish. Nice for Knoxville to get some national environmental attention that doesn't have to do with coal ash or Smoky Mountain smog.
