The Daily Pulse:

PEP! Up With Our Health & Fitness Guide

This week's issue of Metro Pulse features a healthy double-feature: A cover story on the cultural reasons behind Knoxville's ever-expanding waistline (plus an interview with Biggest Loser contestant Sherry Johnston, which required reporter Rose Kennedy to navigate POTUS-level security at NBC to get access), and our brand new PEP! good-health guide.

Last year, we published a holistic healing directory, and PEP! expands on that with listings for Fitness, Eating Well, and Mental Health as well as quick-start tips compiled by Rose. Also: It's a stand-alone magazine inserted in the issue, so it's a keeper. A lot of local practitioners can be difficult to locate via the Yellow Pages or even Google, so this is a truly helpful guide to anyone wanting to get help making some life changes. (It'll take us a while to get all the info online, so pick up your hard copy now!)

(And if you'd like to get your practice listed in the next one, send an e-mail to editor(at)metropulse.com.
