The week begins for us at Metro Pulse with very sad news from an old friend. Katie Allison Granju, who has in the past worked as an MP freelancer, staff writer, and, for many years, a columnist, lost her son Henry over the weekend to complications from a drug overdose and violent assault. Katie has been detailing Henry's struggles for the past month on her blog, MamaPundit. It is heartbreaking for the family, and for all of us who have known Katie through the years and remember Henry as the bright-eyed, smiling little boy he was. It is hard to know what to say, so we will say as little as possible. Rest in peace, Henry.
