The Sutherland Ave. art scene (you didn't know there was one? catch up!) comes to life for an inaugural Third Thursday event. You can sample local art at a string of Sutherland businesses including Menagerie, Mighty Mudd, Nostalgia, Mojoe's Trailside Coffeehouse, Hard Knox Tattoo, Aimee's Bohemian Imports, and Larry Cole's Gallery House.

Carpetbag Theatre continues its Home Grown at the Garden series with a show about the Knoxville Jazz Age trio of Howard Armstrong, Carl Martin, and Ted Bogan.

The Hot Summer Nights concert series continues with a string trio doing a mixture of classical and pop.
