Here's what to expect:
The 3rd annual Snow Day, CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will feature seven local bands, a soup contest between some of Knoxville's finest restaurants, an inaugural Beard Pageant (open to both men and women), and a silent auction. Featured Musicians: Christabel and the Jons, Kevin Abernathy Band, the Vaygues, the Theorizt, Ian Thomas, Mountains of Moss, and the Great Great Pines.
Food: A soup-off featuring some of Knoxville's finest restaurants including the Bistro at the Bijou, the Crown and Goose, the Parlor, Organicism Farms, the Night Owl, and Coolato Gelato.
Cost: Admission to Snow Day is $7, and an all-you-can-eat soup ticket is $3
What Else?: A silent auction with prizes from over 50 local businesses including Bonnaroo tickets, Gypsy Hands massages, Tennessee Valley Bicycles bike tune-ups, and CSA shares to Colvin Family Farm and Organicism Farms.
Why: To benefit CAC Beardsley Community Farm and your community. To support sustainable urban agriculture and food justice in Knoxville.
Who: Knoxvillians of all ages. Green and black thumbs alike.
