The Daily Pulse:

Fighting the "Green Dragon" of Environmentalism

Entertaining story in today's Tennessean about an anti-environmentalist evangelical Christian movement, which has come up with an admittedly awesome name for environmentalists: the Cult of the Green Dragon. Apart from sounding like a great lost Tintin adventure, it gives the group the excuse to put really excellent D&D-style graphics on its website:

The ostensible objection is that there's something paganistic about tree-hugging, and that environmental regulations make everything more expensive and therefore hurt poor people. But the whole thing is a project of something called the Cornwall Alliance--which, oh so shockingly, turns out to have heavy backing from assorted groups connected to oil industry lobbyists

Still, that's a cool-looking dragon.
