The Daily Pulse:

Send Stacey a Valentine!

We here at Metro Pulse don't advocate donating to any causes. (We try to be unbiased journalists - which basically just means we're cynical as hell.) But we can't help but be tickled by the image of our state senator, Stacey Campfield, walking into his office next Monday to find a desk covered with valentines that say, "Roses are red, violets are blue, immigrant families pay taxes too." Or better yet, a teddy bear wearing a t-shirt that says "I have a heart for immigrants and refugees"!

Again, we aren't advocating donating to any political organization, but if you do give money right now to the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, they will make sure the legislator of your choice gets a special valentine - or even that teddy bear. We somehow think the expression on Stacey's face at such a moment would be worth the cost ... if we could only be there to see it.
