Remember crabcore? For a few minutes a couple of years ago, the Internet was simultaneously appalled and entertained by this video by Ohio metal band Attack Attack!, who enliven their otherwise unremarkable synthy screamo-core with Auto-Tune and a sublimely ridiculous group choreography that gave the microgenre its name.
Well, brief Internet notoriety isn't necessarily the worst thing that can happen to a band. Attack Attack! survived the crabcore laughs and is set to release its third album this month. And they're playing at the Valarium on Monday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
