The Daily Pulse:

V-Roys' Reunion Show Gets Upgraded to the Tennessee

When the late, great V-Roys announced their one-off New Year's Eve reunion show a little while back, there were two widespread reactions: 1.) Awesome!, and 2.) Why at the Bijou Theatre instead of the Tennessee? Well, with the gig long since sold out, it seems somebody in the V-Roys camp asked the same question--with the result that, according to the band's Facebook page, the show has now been officially moved a few blocks up Gay Street to the larger venue.

Bijou ticket-holders needn't worry: Your tickets will be replaced with what they're calling "comparable" seats in the Tennessee. But of course there will also now be hundreds of new tickets available for those who missed out on the first go-round. They will go on sale next Friday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m.

The show already promised to be the party of the year. Now it's gonna be an even bigger one. It also offers a pleasing symmetry for those of us lucky (and/or old) enough to have seen the band's farewell show at the Tennessee on New Year's Eve of 1999.
