Boozehound Gandy Dance: The Drunks That Stole Christmas

The music/vaudeville troupe presents its annual, irreverent holiday show.

Cider, cookies, music, ornament-making, and storytelling.

Tours of the fort, decorated for Christmas, plus cooking and blacksmith demonstrations.

4-7 p.m. Saturday, Candoro Marble Works. Free.
The Vestal arts and heritage center will be filled with candlelight, Christmas trees, and live music.

Ten houses in the North Knoxville neighborhood will be open and fully decorated (and will each offer refreshments).

5-8 p.m. Saturday, 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Mabry-Hazen House. Free.
The historic home will be decked out in period holiday decor.

Septuagenarian Texas rock'n'soul man can still shake that thing.

Snarling rock and strutting cabaret. Or maybe the other way 'round.

Kathryn Calder with Himalayan Bear
10 p.m. Sunday, Pilot Light. $10.
Calder, who was in Immaculate Machine and is in the New Pornographers, makes vivid psych-pop on her own.
