• Chamber-pop ensemble the Punch Brothers, featuring former Nickel Creek star Chris Thile, will appear at the Bijou Theatre on Thursday, April 19, at 8 p.m. The group's new album, Are You Feeling Young?, will be released on Feb. 13. Tickets are $20/$21.50 the day of the show and go on sale Friday, Feb. 3.
• NPR- and Pitchfork-approved idie folk-singer Sharon Van Etten, who will release her new album Tramp in February, will perform at the Square Room on Tuesday, April 24, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12/$14 the day of the show and go on sale Friday, Jan. 27. Listen to "Serpents" from Tramp here.
• Country star Billy Currington ("Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer") will play at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium on Saturday, April 28. David Nail and Kip Moore will open the show. Tickets are $31 and $38.
