Knox County Library polled people to see what movies they'd like to watch during the six weeks of Movies on Market Square--and the results are in!
The first movie to be shown will be Footloose (the original, and, really, the only). The rest of the movies (in the order they'll be shown) are: Despicable Me, The Adventures of Tintin, You've Got Mail, The Hunger Games, and The Blind Side. All the movies are PG-13 and under, but parents, please check out the movies to make sure you're cool with the kiddos seeing them.
Just as a reminder, the series is very pet-friendly. The library is partnering with PetSafe in putting the events together, and before the movies start, viewers will be treated to pet safety tips and other furry festivities. Those events start around 6:30, and the movies start rolling at dusk.
