Good morning kiddies! We have some interesting musical events tonight. Ready to rock?
Maybe you once dreamed of being a techie for rock concerts. Or maybe you're just a techie. Or like music. Either way, Jubilee Community Arts will host a workshop tonight at 6:30 on how to set up audio, handle equipment, and mix the sounds for concerts. It's at the Laurel Theatre, and those who attend will be asked for volunteer six hours of their time over the next year for Jubilee. Check out their website for more info.
Also at 6:30, the Chilhowee Park Neighborhood Watch will be meeting in the Tiger Top Building of the Knoxville Zoo. The doors open at 6:15. Call Barbara Dowell at (865)-521-7248 for more information
It's open mic night at the Preservation Pub! Got a guitar? Know a song? Get up there and play, man! Or just go and enjoy the (maybe) awesome and free music. It gets started at 7 p.m. and it's free. 21+ only, though.
Knoxville's long-running comedy improv troupe Einstein Simplified will be at Sidesplitters Comedy Club tonight at 8. The cover is $5, and the show is limited to 18+. Check out the club's website for more info.
