The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Beautiful Socializing

What a Thursday it will be for all--kids included.

At 11 a.m., Smart Toys and Books (just off of Kingston Pike) will host a children's storytime. The storyteller is "experience," so it's sure to be a treat. Call (865)-691-1154 for more info.

This afternoon, Knoxville Fashion Week continues at Belleza with a Beauty-Salon Social at 3:30. Admission is free at the Bearden location (6209 Kingston Pike). Visit the website for more info and tickets to other events.

Live downtown? Care about downtown? Couldn't care less about downtown? Good! You can go to the Downtown Knoxville Town Hall Meeting tonight at 6 p.m. It's being held in the Knoxville Chamber in the the Market House Room (at 17 Market Square). No word yet on what's being discussed. Better show up!

Gritte Fritter is playing at the Blount County Public Library at 7 p.m. in Maryville as part of the library's Hot Summer Nights concert series. Hot indeed. Check out the library's website to learn more.

Wrap up your night with a cheap concert at the Preservation Pub. Wazu and Sleep Satellite are playing at 10 p.m. It's for the 21+ crowd and cover is $3. Not bad for a Thursday night!
