The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Belle Morris and More!

Good afternoon kiddies! Still recovering from that busy weekend? We are too. But here's a relaxed Monday Plan-It to kill the post-weekend blues.

At 1 p.m., take a look at Beverly Semmes' Starcraft exhibit at the Knoxville Museum of Art. The Brooklyn-based artist's work will only be there until Sept. 9, so better get down there before it's gone!

The Knox County Commission will meet at 1:45 in the main assembly room of the City County Building, and will address the resolution brought by Commissioner Amy Broyles concerning Belle Morris Elementary's status as a voting location. The mostly-Republican commissioners don't expect any action to be taken on behalf of the school, but you never know! See the full agenda here.

At 7 p.m., go see roots-rock band Red June play at the Knoxville Visitor Center. The concert, which costs $10, is hosted by WDVX and will air live on the radio. If you have a student ID, you can get in free (as well as kids under 14) throughout August. This is your last chance! Buy tickets here.
