The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Drawings, Veggies, and Open Mic Night

Good morning, kiddies! Guess what today is! Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Ha! It's Hump Day! Congrats on making it this far into the week. We're halfway there. (Ok, enough '80's references) Here's what's going on today.

The "Pencil Pushed" exhibit is on display at both the Ewing Gallery on the UT campus and the Downtown Gallery. It's a collection of works by mid-career artists who primarily use drawing as their medium. It's on Display until the end of October.

As fall approaches, so does the end of the Market Square Farmer's Market. It's going to be on the square today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pick up some veggies for dinner tonight on your lunch break.

The Amused Life Center is hosting a sizemology zumba class--a 45-minute latin dance-inspired routine--for $5 per class. It starts at 5:30, and the center is at 221 E. Cumberland Ave.

After zumba, go check out the people performing at the Open Mic Blues Jam at the Relix Variety Theatre. It starts at 7 p.m. and there's no admission charge.

The Two Man Gentlemen Band is playing at Morelock Music tonight at 8. The New York duo and former subway buskers are familiar faces in Knoxville, and tonight is the release of their new album Two At A Time. Admission in $10.

The Sheepdogs, winners of Rolling Stone's Choose the Cover contest last year, will play at the Cider House tonight at 8 with Black Box Revelation. Tickets are $12-$15, and the show is for the 21+ crowd only.
