The Daily Pulse:

Mmmmm ... It's a Meat CSA!

Now that it's fall, we know you're thinking about hearty fare for dinner. Gone are the caprese salads and grilled corn on the cob -- it's time for stew, steaks, and sloppy joes. In short, it is time for meat. And if you are a lover of sustainable, locally produced grass-fed beef, then you'll probably be thrilled to find out our friends at Century Harvest Farms have just launched a meat CSA! Yes, you just pay a monthly fee and pick up all the beef you can eat once a month at Saw Works Brewing Comapny's tap room.

To celebrate the new initiative, the farm is throwing a party this Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Saw Works:

Launch Party for Century Harvest Farms at Saw Works Brewing Co.

We're giving away a FREE GROWLER with COOLER TOTE to ALL who purchase grass-fed beef. These commemorative growlers entitle you to great discounts on growler fills at Saw Works Brewing--only $5 per fill for ground beef customers (regular price $9). That's only $1.25 per pint! Chef Dustin Busby of Blackberry Farm will also be grilling up free samples of our locally grown, grass-fed beef from 5:30-8pm. Support your local farmers and brewers and save big on food/beverage costs ... it's a win-win!

Century Harvest asks that you e-mail your rsvp to grassfed@centuryharvest.com if you're planning to attend the kickoff party. Otherwise, just head over to their website to sign up, and start planning your meaty menus. The first drop-off is Nov. 7.
