The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Farmer's Market, Green Books, and "The Little Prince"

Sorry we're late today, folks. You know how computers can be temperamental! They must've had a bit too much to drink last night while streaming the presidential debate--their drink word was probably "percentage." Ah, well. Here's what's going on today.

At 11, take an early lunch and mosey on over to the farmer's market on Market Square. We're getting close to the end of it, so enjoy it while it lasts.

If you've already done your shopping, or have time to take an extra-long lunch, the East Tennessee History Center is hosting the Brown Bag Green Book series today at noon. Mayor Madeline Rogero will talk about Joan Fitzgerald's book Emerald Cities: Urban Sustainability and Economic Development at today's gathering. Should be pretty interesting. Bring your lunch!

Tonight at 7:30, check out a performance of "The Little Prince" at UT's Clarence Brown Theatre. Tickets are $12-$25. Buy them here.

Grouplove, L.A.'s surfer-indie group, is playing at the Bijou tonight at 8. Tickets are $20. Buy them here.

If you're still out and want to catch a cool show, head over to the Preservation Pub and see Timbre Coup with DJ Steve Jaws. Cover is $3. 21+ only.
