The Daily Plan-It: Arts and Crafts, It's a Wonderful Life, and the Naughty Guys

Good morning, kids! Yes, we maybe able to taste the weekend on this Day of Thor, but don't get too crazy with the coffee and Bailey's tonight. Unless you have a holiday party to go to. In which case, go on with your bad self. Otherwise, here's what you could be doing instead of wassailing or whatever.

The Fine Art and Craft sale at Cherokee Mills starts at 10 a.m. and goes till 4 p.m. Among the items that will be for sale are ceramics, wood carvings, painting and jewelry. Get some Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Nonreligious holiday shopping done, you procrastinators. T-minus 2 1/2 weeks still Christmas and Kwanzaa and sooner for Hanukkah (but duh, you already know that).

At noon grab that turkey sandwich on wheat and head over to the visitor center to listen to Delta Moon play at WDVX's Blue Plate Special with the Green Carpet Players. Buy a can of soda while you're there.

The Naughty Guys will be playing at Irish Times Pub and Restaurant tonight at 9. The show's free, so go get a pint while you listen!
