The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Christmas in the Cave, Scruffy City Ramble, and Hudson K

Good morning, friends! Who's been waking up every morning and playing "Little Saint Nick?" No one? Hm. Scrooges. Well, run, run reindeers to check out what's going on today.

At 11 a.m., the Downtown Gallery opens. Pat Badt and Paul Briggs' exhibit "Revealed" combines the work of the Pennsylvania painter and the New York sculptor. The gallery's open till 6 p.m., and the work will be on display through mid-January.

Spend your lunchtime doing a little yoga at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. The class is free, but donations are accepted. Call (865) 577-2021 or email for more info.

Check out Cherokee Caverns' Christmas in the Cave this evening starting at 5:30. For $8, you can walk through the caves and see Christmas scenes all over the place.

At 7 p.m. in the Square Room, Tim Easton will take the stage for the Scruffy City Ramble with Matrimony, Lil Iffy, and Jamie Cook. Tickets to the show are $15. Buy them here.

Hudson K will play at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria with Manbaby at 8 p.m. Oh yeah--that show's free!

If you're still out and about at 10 p.m., check out Plant Parenthood and the Sniff and Blane Band at the Preservation Pub. Cover's $5. 18+ only.
