The Daily Plan-It: Whitey Hitchcock, A Christmas Carol, and the Comedy Rock Party

Good morning, kids! Sit back, pour that second cup of coffee, and check out what's going on today.

At 11, the Downtown Gallery opens with a new exhibit from Pat Badt (a painter from Pennsylvania) and Paul Briggs (a sculptor from New York) called "Revealed." It's free to go check out the new works, which will be on display through mid-January.

At noon, grab your lunch and head down to the visitor center. Bebo Whitehead and Mark Kretcher are playing for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. It's free to go listen! 

At 4:30, Whitey Hitchcock will be at Mr. K's in Oak Ridge to sign copies of his new book, Soul of a Teacher: Be the Hero of Your Own Story

Tonight at the Baker Peters Lounge, the Faculty will play at 7. 21+ only.

At 7:30 p.m., the Clarence Brown Theatre will host the production of "A Christmas Carol." Tickets to the show are $20-$40. Buy them here.

At the Well tonight, Enigmatic Foe will play at 9 with Coalition of Benevolence. The show's free. 21+ only.

Comedy fans! At 10 p.m., the Pilot Light is hosting the 12/12/12 Comedy Rock Party, which will feature Will Fist as the evening's emcee, comics Dugan Broadhurst, Angela Garrone, and Jeff Blank, and the musical stylings of Big Bad Oven. Cover is $5. Be there or be square (18+ only).
