The Daily Pulse:

Scruffy City Ramble canceled due to weather

We've just gotten word that this evening's Scruffy City Ramble, due to start at the Square Room at 7 p.m., has been canceled due to the fact that downtown, having escaped yesterday's flooding, may be covered with snow and ice. Musicians and prospective audience members may be dealing with transportation challenges this evening.

Scruffy City Ramble is an unusual musical variety show broadcast live on WUTK and on internet podcast, performed before a live audience that includes diners. This show was to feature regular host Scott Miller, who always plays a couple of his own songs, plus Hank's talented granddaughter Holly Williams, local-hero recording artists the Lone Tones and the Tim Lee 3, plus an interesting new band called This Mountain. Attack Monkey Productions may reschedule them for a later date.

The next schedule Scruffy City Ramble is on Feb. 21. Scheduled for that show are Henry Wagons, Sturgill Simpson, Lydia Salnikova, and more to be announced.
