From 1 to 4 p.m., middle- and high school students are invited to play chess with friends at the Blount County Public Library. It's absolutely free to attend! Go learn something, kids!

Documentary fans! This one's for you! The OASIS Institute will be screening Peaceable Kingdom tonight at 7 p.m. The movie is about farmers who practice traditional farming techniques who start to question them. It's free to attend! 

Country fans, you may know Cledus T. Judd as the Weird Al Yankovic of the genre. He'll be at Sidesplitters Comedy Club tonight at 8. No cover! 18+ only.

Night owls, Scale Model will play at the Pilot Light tonight at 10, with Royal Buzz and Camillo the Ocean. Cover's $5. 18+ only.
