The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Get Artsy, Get Dancin', and then Go Buck Yourself

Good morning, friends! Grab your umbrellas today! And take a look at what's going on.

At 11, the Downtown Gallery opens. Pat Badt and Paul Briggs' exhibit "Revealed" is still on display. The painter-sculptor duo's work will be available to peruse until Jan. 18. So get there before it's gone!

At noon, grab your lunch and head over to the visitor center for some lunchtime tunes. Keith Kenny will play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. As always, there's no admission charge!

Circle Modern Dance will hold an intermediate/advanced modern technique class at 6 p.m. at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture. Experience is recommended, but not required. The class is $5, but if it's your first time with the group, it's free. So go get your groove on!

Need an excuse to go out to dinner? The Chuck Mullican Trio will be playing some live jazz at the Bistro at the Bijou tonight starting at 7.

At 9 p.m., Hank III guitarist Joe Buck will take over the Well with his postmodern hillbilly one-man band Joe Buck Yourself. Not to be missed, guys. Cover's $5. 21+ only.

Still planning to be out and about at 10 p.m.? Head over to the Pilot Light to check out the Gone Bads, who'll play with White Reaper. Cover's $5. 18+ only.
