The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Welcome to Hackberry, the Jonathan Byrd Band, and KJO + Warren Wolf

Good morning! It's Monday... And that pretty much covers it. Have an extra cup of coffee and check out what's going on today.

The District Gallery, which opens at 10 a.m., is hosting Harold Wimberly Jr.'s photo exhibit "Welcome to Hackberry." The photos are of Wimberly's travels around the United States and Europe. It's free to go in and check out his work, which will be on display through Feb. 16.

At noon, Poor Howard Stith will play at WDVX's Blue Plate Special in the visitor center with Backwater Mojo. Bring your lunch and buy a Coke when you get there!

After work, why not unwind with a little yoga? The Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church will have a yoga/meditation class at 5:30 till 7 p.m. Call (865) 577-2021 for more info or email yogaway249@gmail.com. Donations accepted!

Tonight at 7 on WDVX's Tennessee Shines, the Jonathan Byrd Band will play with the Stray Birds. Tickets are $10-$15 at the door of the visitor center.

At 8 p.m., the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra will play with vibraphonist Warren Wolf in the Square Room. Tickets are $29.50. Buy them here.

Up for a late night? Check out the Fast Tacks and the Fun Guy at the Preservation Pub at 10. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
