The Daily Plan-It: The Honeycutters, Belly Dancing, and Railroad Earth

At noon, Asheville's folk-country band the Honeycutters will play at WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Murfreesboro indie group Glossary at the visitor center. Check it out! Plus, hey, if you invite a certain special someone, you can make it a lunch date. A reduced-cost lunch date. It counts.

The UT Gardens will host a gardening and botany class for home-schooled kiddos today from 1 p.m. till 4 p.m. It's $5 to attend.

Want to get one last workout in before the big night? Get to the Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church for some pilates at 6:30. It's $3 per class. Call (865) 622-3103 or email for more info.

Railroad Earth, the New Jersey jam band that channels Woodie Guthrie, will play at the Bijou Theatre tonight at 8 p.m.Tickets to the show are $21.50-$25. Buy them here.
