The Daily Plan-It: Yoga, Samurai Swords, and the Casey Driessen Singularity

Good morning! Pour yourself that second cup of joe and check out what's going on this Monday.

The Arts and Culture Alliance 2013 juried art show will only be on display through Friday at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture. The exhibit features the works of several local artists. It's free to check it out!

Shivering Timbers will play at WDVX's Blue Plate Special today at noon in the visitor center with Bombadil. Bring your lunch and buy a Coke when you get there!

At 5:30, head over to the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church for some gentle yoga and meditation. Donations are accepted for the class. For more info call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

Broadway Family Karate will have an introductory class to the samurai sword tonight at 7. The 90-minute class will cover the history, craft, and technique of the katana, the classic samurai sword. It's free to attend!

The Casey Driessen Singularity will play tonight at 7 for WDVX's Tennessee Shines with Dylan Sneed. Tickets to see the live show in the visitor center are $10-$15.

Tonight at the Well, it's Comedy Con Queso night. Open a tab after 9 p.m. and you get free cheese. Oh, and there will be some stand-up comics to entertain you. No cover! 21+ only.
