Interested in the "Urban Food Corridor" Plan? Meeting Tonight.

The Knoxville/Knox County Food Policy Council, instrumental in crafting the "Urban Food Corridor Plan," will be hosting the second of four community meetings tonight to address the question, "How do we ensure access to healthy, affordable food for everyone in Knox County?" 

The Urban Food Corridor Plan, created with community input at meetings like this one, was a failed bid for the Bloomberg Philanthropies Mayor's Challenge grant, but officials are still working on putting parts of the plan into place.

The meeting will be from 6-8 p.m. at Pellissippi State Community College on Magnolia Avenue. Participation is free, and registration is not required,
