At noon in the visitor center, Carolina Bound will play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Marmalakes. It's free to attend! Bring your lunch!

This evening at 5 p.m., the Beardsley Community Farm will have a spring planting/harvesting class. So if you've got some seeds and need a little guidance, this is the place to be. It's free to attend!

Actors! The Tennessee Valley Players will have auditions for "South Pacific" tonight at 6 at Farragut Presbyterian Church. The play is scheduled to run in June. Come to the auditions prepared to sing, dance, and read from a script. Visit the group's website for more info on the audition process.

Eisner-winning cartoonist Gene Yang will be at UT's Hodges Library tonight at 7 p.m., and will talk about the education potential of comics. Yang is the author of American Born Chinese.

It's Comedy Con Queso Open Mic Night at the Well starting at 9 p.m. If you open a tab, you get free cheese. No cover! 21+ only.

The Mumbles will play at the Preservation Pub tonight at 10 p.m. No cover. 21+ only.
