The Daily Plan-It: Mayors' Leadership Luncheon, Piloxing, and the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage

Good morning! Looks like we all made it through Monday. Hey, that's good, right? So take a look at what's going on today.

The Fountain City Arts Center will have work on display from the Knoxville Book Arts Guild and the Southern Appalachian Photography Society. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m., and it's free to go check out the exhibit.

The 2013 Mayors' Leadership Luncheon will start at 11:30 at the Knoxville Convention Center. Jim Clifton, the chairman of the polling organization Gallup, will deliver the keynote address.

Charles Miller will conclude Pellissippi State's 2013 faculty lecture series today at 12:30 with a discussion on "The History of the Duel." The discussion will be at the Clayton Performing Arts Center. It's free to attend!

The 63rd annual five-day Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage to the Great Smoky Mountains kicks off today at 5 p.m. at the national park. The event includes wildflower, fauna, and natural history walks, motorcades, photographic tours, art classes, and indoor seminars. It's $50-$75 to attend.

Concord United Methodist Church in Farragut will have a piloxing (boxing/pilates) class at 7 p.m. It's $3 to attend.

Miss Tess will play at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria tonight at 8. The show's free to attend!
