The Daily Pulse:

City Starting its First Kickball League for Grown Ups

The city parks and recreation athletics office is starting its first coed kickball league for adults this year. So round up at least 12 people and pool your resources to cover the $250 team fee for either the recreational or semi-competitive leagues. But be quick about it--you have to register by May 3.

The season will start on May 13 and games will be played at Caswell Park. Mondays and Wednesday evenings will be the recreational teams' playing nights, and Tuesdays will be game nights for the semi-competitive league.

There are flyers about the new league(s) and forms to fill out for registration here. If you have questions, concerns, or need some directions, call or email Adam Motz at (865) 215-1424 or

Check out the athletics office website for more sports leagues to join.
