The Daily Plan-It: Life Drawing Session, Modern Dance Class, and Farewell to Kings

Good morning! Happy hump day! Here's what's going on today.

At 11:30 a.m., there will be an informational meeting for small business owners on the Affordable Care Act at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. It's a complicated law, so definitely go get any lingering questions you have answered! For more information on the workshop, call (865) 483-2668 or email bangs@tsbdc.org.

At 1 p.m., there will be an AARP driver safety class at Buckingham Retirement Home. The class is open to everyone and free to attend. Call (865) 584-9964 for more info.

The Candoro Arts and Heritage Center will have a life drawing session open to all artists who want to get some practice in. The session starts at 2 p.m. and goes until 4. There won't be any instructors around. Bring your sketching materials! No membership is required, but it's $10 to participate. For more info, call (865) 573-0709.

Circle Modern Dance will have an intermediate/advanced-level modern dance technique class at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture this evening at 6. The first class you take with the group is free, and $5 for every subsequent class. 

Local metal band Farewell to Kings will play at the Blackstock Exchange tonight at 8. The show's free to attend! 18+ only.

Meen Old World will play at the Well tonight at 10. Cover's $5. 21+ only.
