The Daily Plan-It: Shopping at the Farm, Zumba, and Best of Knoxville PARTY!!!

Good morning! Pick up a copy of our Best of Knoxville issue today and see if your favorite place made the cut! (Also check out all the people/places who won!) And then take a look at what's going on today.

At noon in the visitor center, Gage Sharp, Ashley Gillenwaters, and Hudson K will all play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. As always, it's free to attend!

At 2 p.m., the Blount County Public Library will have a free introductory computers class. Be sure to mention it to anyone you know could use a refresher or a crash course.

At 3 p.m., the Shopping at the Farm farmers market gets started at the Marble Springs Historic Site. It goes until 6!

The Beardsley Community Farm will have another summer preserving class today at 5 p.m. It's free to attend! If you've ever wanted to learn to preserve, here's your chance!

Need to fit in a quick workout? Carrie Jackson will lead a zumba class at 6 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church. It's $5 to take the class.

And then, the big party starts. At 7, be sure to join us at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria for Metro Pulse's Best of Knoxville Party! It's free to attend! Guy Marshall and King Super and the Excellents will provide the evening's entertainment.

Still planning to be out and about around 10? Check out the Royal Hounds, who'll play at the Preservation Pub at 10 p.m. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
