The Daily Plan-It: Music Camp, Local Writers Reception, and Belly Dancing

Good morning! Treat yourself to some coffee and take a look at what's going on today.

Jeff Comas will lead a three-day summer music camp for kiddos at the East Tennessee Technology Access Center. Camp goes from 9 a.m. to noon. A $20 donation is recommended. For more info call (865) 219-0130.

At noon in the visitor center, A.O. Donovan will play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Brent Thompson and the Wandering. As always, it's free to attend.

The Friends of Literacy will hold a reception for local writers at Union Avenue Books at 6 p.m. It's free to attend! Go rub elbows with some writin' types!

There will be a belly dance for beginners class at Knox Dance Worx at 8 p.m. It's $12 to take the class. For more info call (865) 898-2126 or email alexia@alexia-dance.com.

Night owls, head over to the Well at 9 p.m. to see Honky Suckle perform with the Kenny Roby Band. The show's free to attend! 21+ only.
