The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: The Folk You Buddies, Yoga, and Danielle Howle

Good morning! Are we all here and accounted for (however reluctantly)? Good. Pour another cup of coffee and take a look at how you can recover from the weekend today.

Fiber artist Pat Delashmit and painter Gary Dagnan have a new art exhibit featured at the Art Market Gallery through the month of June. The gallery opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. It's free, as always to go check out the art!

At noon in the visitor center, check out the Folk You Buddies, who'll play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with B. Sterling. This one's also free! Bring your lunch!

Need to work out some kinks? Try a gentle yoga and meditation class at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church at 5:30. Donations are accepted. For more info, call (865) 577-2021 or email

At 8 p.m., get a beer at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria, and catch Danielle Howle play at 8 p.m. with Firework Show (the band, not actual fireworks). No cover!

Night owls can head to the Preservation Pub at 10 to see J.P. Harris and the Tough Choices at 10 p.m. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
