The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Ballroom Dance Lessons, 'Twelfth Night,' and Jamey Johnson

Good morning! What is that big glowing thing in the sky? A sun? What? Anyway, take advantage of the nice weather and get outside today! Here's what you could get up to.

At noon, there will be a gentle yoga and meditation class at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Donations will be accepted. For more info, call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

Then lace up your dancing shoes for a ballroom dance class at the Birdhouse at 5 p.m. There are two class sessions that go until 9 p.m. Donations and same-sex couples are encouraged!

At 6 p.m., River Sports Outfitters will host a trail run at Mead's Quarry at the Ijams Nature Center. It's absolutely free to attend! So if you running types are looking for something new to add to your routine, grab a head lamp and hoof it over there.

Don't forget! If you have yet to get to a Shakespeare on the Square show at Market Square, the Tennessee Stage Company will be performing Twelfth Night at 7 p.m. It's free to attend!

Outlaw-ish country musician Jamey Johnson will play at Cotton Eyed Joe tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. Buy them here. 18+ only.

Still plan to be out and about at 10? Swing by Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria to catch indie folk duo Paleface perform. The show's free.
