Happy hump day! We're halfway through the week! Take a look at what's going on today.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Market Square Farmer's Market will take over our square. Stop by and pick up some veggies for dinner or get yourself a pastry or popsicle.

At noon, Helen Ross McNabb's Clifton Tennison will lead a discussion on Pete Earley's book Crazy: A Father's Search Through America's Mental Health Madness in the East Tennessee History Center as part of the Books Sandwiched In series. It's free to attend! Next month's book is How Children Succeed by Paul Tough.

The Birdhouse will host an improv comedy class at 7 p.m. It's free to attend, so go brush up your skills!

Sean Rowe will play a free show at Boyd's Jig and Reel at 7 p.m. 18+ only.

Avant-jazz duo Rabbit Rabbit will play at the Pilot Light at 10 p.m. in support of their upcoming album (to be released in August), along with Horcerer. It's $6 to get in. 18+ only.
