The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Cats in Outer Space, Summer Slaughter, and Improv Comedy Class

Good morning! Happy hump day! We made it up the hill, and here's what's going on at the top.

Mandy Stoller's art exhibit "Cats in Outer Space" will end its stay at the Birdhouse today, so be sure and get to the gallery! It opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m.

At noon in the visitor center, Bill and Eli Perras will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Luke Wilkerson. It's free to attend! Bring your lunch!

The Summer Slaughter 2013 tour is making a stop in Knoxville at the Old City Courtyard this afternoon (3 p.m.) The Dillinger Escape Plan will headline, along with Animals as Leaders and several more. Tickets are $20-$25. Buy them here

The Birdhouse will have an improv comedy class tonight at 7. It's free to attend, so it's a good time to work on that comedic timing.

Tonight at 9, Slaughter Daughters will play at the Well with Cornbred Jon Worley. No cover! 21+ only.
