At noon in the visitor center, Alison Self will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Oh, Jeremiah. As always, it's free to attend. Bring your lunch!

At 5:30 p.m., the Atheists Society of Knoxville will meet at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria. The meeting is free and open to atheists and atheist-friendly people. 

Families Anonymous, which provides support for adult relatives and friends concerned about their loved ones' current or former use of drugs or alcohol or related behavior problems. Families Anonymous will meet at Peninsula Lighthouse at 7:15 tonight. It's free to attend, but you must be at least 18. For more info, call (865) 696-6066 or email

The Marble City 5 will play at Market Square this evening at 8 p.m. as part of the city's Jazz on the Square series. It's absolutely free to attend. Go listen to some good tunes and people watch.

Nashville outsider/Hank III guitarist Joe Buck is back in town and will play at the Well at 9 p.m. with the Hooten Hallers and January Gray. It's $7 to attend. 21+ only.
