The Daily Plan-It: New NOAA Weather Station, Larry and His Flask, and Future Islands

Good morning! Are we all here and accounted for? Does everyone have his/her caffeine source of choice? Good. Take a look at what's going on today.

There will be a zumba class for kiddos at Farragut Town Hall at 10:15 a.m. Take your munchkins and get them to work off some of that endless energy. It's $3 to participate.

At 5:30 p.m., there will be a gentle yoga and meditation class at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Donations will be accepted. For more info call (865) 577-2021 or email yogaway249@gmail.com.

Tilden Meyers, deputy director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Atmosphereic Turbulence and Diffusion Division, will be at UT's Arboretum at 8 p.m. to show folks NOAA's new weather station there. It's free to attend! Go check it out, weather nerds!

Oregon punk-bluegrass outfit Larry and His Flask will play at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria at 9:30 p.m. with Woody Pines. The show's free! 

At 10 p.m., catch Baltimore pop-synth band Future Islands at the Pilot Light, along with Chiffon. Tickets are $10. Buy them here. 18+ only.
