Tonight at 5:30 at the Bearden Beer Market, local people working or interested in the environmental sector can meet and talk over some drinks. It's free to attend!

Charlottesville, Va., pop rock outfit Parachute will perform at the Bijou Theatre at 7:30 tonight with Matt Hires and Paradise Fears. Tickets are $15. Buy them here.

If you're out and about downtown this evening, don't forget to stop by Market Square and check out the Marble City 5, who will play as part of the city's Jazz on the Square series at 8 p.m. The show's free!
