Yeah, we know First Fridays are fun and all, but do you ever just wish they were a little bit more low key? You know, where there was cool stuff going on but maybe parking wasn't such a hassle and there wasn't an hour-long wait to eat at most restaurants?
Well, kids, you're in luck! Tomorrow brings the launch of "Third Thursdays" on Union Avenue, which the organizers hope to make a monthly event. The block of Union Ave. in front of the Daylight Building will be closed off from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and filled with food, entertainment, and specials at your favorite Daylight Building shops.
John Black Photography, RERUNS Boutique, Union Ave. Books, and Just Ripe are all participating in the event and staying open late to bring you special deals. There will also be food from Hoof Knoxville, Tootsie Truck, Good Golly Tamale, and Bull's BBQ Food Truck, along with coffee from Three Bears. We don't know much more about what will be going on, but we're excited to stop by and check it out, before it gets too big.
