The Daily Plan-It: 9/11 Memorial, the Career Coach, and Tim Northern

Good morning! Happy hump day! We're halfway through the week. Here's what's going on today.

At 8:35, the City of Knoxville and Knox County will hold a joint Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony, which will be led by the Knox County Sheriff's Office, the Knoxville Police Department, and the Knoxville Fire Department. Part of Main Street will be closed in front of the City County Building (where the memorial will take place). 

The Career Coach, a 35-foot long bus with computer work stations to assist you in your job hunt, will make a stop at the Blount County Public Library in Maryville today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's free to attend!

Addie Brownlee will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special at noon in the visitor center with Rickshaw Roadshow. It's free to attend, as always.

At 2 p.m., the Candoro Arts and Heritage Center will have a life drawing session (with live models). There will be no instruction. Just bring your sketching materials of choice. It's $10 to participate. For more info, call (865) 573-0709.

Annie Robinette will play at the Preservation Pub at 8 p.m. The show's free to attend! 21+ only.

Standup comic Tim Northern will perform at the Pilot Light tonight at 10 p.m. It's $5 to get in. 18+ only.
