The Daily Plan-It: Baker Center's 10th Anniversary, Belly Dancing, and the Orion Astronomy Club

Good morning! The good news is that it's already hump day! So take a look at what's going on.

At 10 a.m. the Clayton Center for the Arts opens, and will feature Knoxville artist Kelly Hider's collection of altered photos in an exhibit called "Presence." It's free to go check out the art! It'll be on display through Sept. 27.

At noon in the visitor center, Brownbird Ruby Relic will play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Elise Davis. It's free to attend! If you can't make the show, Davis will perform tonight at 8 p.m. at the Preservation Pub. That show is also free!

There will be free refreshments at the Howard Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy today from 4:30 to 6:30 to celebrate the center's 10th anniversary. Go, college kids. It's free!

Looking for a new workout? Claire Metz will lead a beginner tribal fusion belly dance class at 6 p.m. at the Broadway Academy of Performing Arts and Events. The class is $12. Check out Metz's website for more info.

The Orion Astronomy Club will have its monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Grove Theater in Oak Ridge. Check out the group's website for more info.

Still going to be out and about around 10? Catch Devan Jones and the Uptown Stomp at the Preservation Pub. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
