The Daily Plan-It: Band of Heathens, Constitution Day Panel, and Einstein Simplified

Good morning, and congratulations on surviving Monday. Now take a look at what's going on today.

At noon in the visitor center, the Band of Heathens will play for WDVX's Blue Plate Special. As always, it's free to attend. Bring your lunch!

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center will have a workshop for small business owners this afternoon at 1:30 at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. It's free to attend. For more info, call (865) 483-2668 or email jbangs@tsbdc.org.

To celebrate Constitution Day, the Howard Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy will host a fourth amendment panel discussion. Information sciences prof Suzi Allard, electric engineering and computer science prof Michael Berry, and UT law school prof and blogger Glen Reynolds will be on the panel. It's free to attend and gets started at 5:30.

Knoxville's long-running improv comedy troupe Einstein Simplified will perform at the Well tonight at 8. There's no cover! 21+ only.

Tonight at 10, the Preservation Pub will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the K-Town Showdown Open Mic Night. Previous participants of the event will be on hand to perform, including Kevin Hyfantis, Jonathan Sexton, Jon Worley, J.C. Haun, Billy Lawson, and Michael Davis. No cover! 21+ only.
