The Daily Pulse:

The Daily Plan-It: Science Cafe, Democratic Women's Club, and Hudson K

Good morning! At least we all made it through Monday, right? Right. So take a look at what's going on today.

At 11 a.m., the YMCA at 616 Jessamine Street will have the first class of a 12-week course on how to stay active to manage pre-diabetes or type II diabetes. It's $25 to join the class.

Eric Nicholas will play at noon in the visitor center for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Robby Hecht. As always, it's free to attend.

This evening at 5:30, grab the kiddos and head over to Ijams Nature Center for the Science Cafe. This month's discussion will focus on talking to dolphins. It's free to attend, but please register by calling (865) 577-4717 ext. 110.

the Knox County Democratic Women's Club (the oldest county Democratic women's club in the country), meets the second Tuesday of every month at Shoney's on Western Avenue. They're meeting there tonight at 6 p.m. It's free to attend.

Hudson K will play at the Preservation Pub tonight at 10 with the Leverage Models. Cover's $5. 21+ only.
