The Knoxville Writers Guild will have its monthly meeting at the Laurel Theatre tonight at 7, and will hear local writers read form their work. It's $2 to attend.

Lengendary hillbilly-esque rockers Black Oak Arkansas (featuring lead singer Jim "Dandy" Mangrum) will perform at the Well tonight at 8 p.m. with Matt Woods and Otis. Tickets will be at the door and cost $20. 21+ only.

Local indie rockers Oh No Fiasco will celebrate the release of their EP No One's Gotta Know at NV Nightclub at 8 p.m. with Skytown Riot, Kvillains, and Far Far Away. Tickets are $7-$10.  Buy them here.

Nashville-by-way-of-Austin, Texas bluegrass-y quartet The Greencards will bring their spin on the genre to the Bijou Theatre tonight at 8 p.m. with fellow Austinites Sons of Fathers. Tickets are $16.50. Buy them here.

Wrap up the night at Sidesplitter's Comedy Club for Comic's Night Out open mic night. The show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $10-$12. Buy them here. 18+ only.
