The Daily Plan-It: Bookaholics Book Group, Writing for the Stage, and Modern Technique Dance Class

Good morning! What do we think about this snow? Yay? Nay? Anyway, here's what's going on this Thanksgiving Eve.

At noon, the Bookaholics Book Group will meet at Union Avenue Books to talk about their monthly read. It's free to attend. Even if you're new, go check it out and find out what next month's book is!

Flying Anvil Theatre's writing for the stage workshop will wrap up today at 2 p.m. in Lawson McGhee Library. It's free to attend!

Circle Modern Dance will have an intermediate to advanced-level modern technique class at 6 p.m. at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture. Experience is recommended, but not required. The first class you take with the group is free, and $5 for each subsequent class. More info here.

If the relatives are already driving you nuts, or if you have some friends in town who want a tour of the nightlife, head over to the Well to see Fifth on the Floor perform at 9 p.m. with Homemade Wine. Cover's $5. 21+ only.

And if you're up for a late night, head over to the Preservation Pub at 10 to catch Primordial Soup. Cover's $3. 21+ only.
