The Daily Plan-It: Baby Bookworms, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Kyle Kinane

Good morning and happy hump day! We're halfway through the week. Here's what's going on today.

At 10:20 a.m., the Lawson McGhee Library will have story time for "baby bookworms." Infants and toddlers up to 2 years old are welcome to join in (with parents or guardians). It's free to attend!

John Lazarus, the Canadian playwright and writer in residence at UT, will talk about his work this afternoon at 2:30 at the McClung Tower. It's free to attend!

Allman Brothers guitarist Derek Trucks will bring his new project the Tedeschi Trucks Band--which he formed with wife Susan Tedeschi--to the Tennessee Theatre tonight at 8 p.m. The London Souls will open for them. Tickets are $29.50-$79.50. Buy them here.

Comedy Central and Conan comic Kyle Kinane will make a stop at Sidesplitters Comedy Club tonight at 8. Tickets are $15-$17. Buy them here. 18+ only.

Wrap up the night at the Well, where local singer/songwriter Jason Ellis will play your favorite covers. No cover! 21+ only.
