Good morning! Here's what's going on around town today.

At noon in the visitor center, Charlie and the Foxtrots will perform for WDVX's Blue Plate Special with Justin Kaleb Driggers. It's free to attend, as always.

The Blount County Public Library will have an introduction to e-readers this afternoon at 2. Bring your Kindles, iPads, and Samsung Galaxies for some pointers for free!

The Knox County Democratic Women's Club will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at Shoney's on Western Ave. It's free to attend! For more info, call (865) 742-8234.

Actors! The Tennessee Stage Company is holding open auditions tonight at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture for its New Play Festival in February and March.  Auditions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. No appointments are necessary, and actors will be doing cold readings. Throwback country-folk outfit the Farewell Drifters will make the journey east from Nashville tonight to play at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria at 10. No cover. 21+ only.
